The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies are intensive academic enrichment programs for high-achieving high school students. The Academies are committed to bringing rigorous academic experiences to students around the globe. Our Summer Academies offer an unparalleled and challenging academic experience on Harvard's campus, while our Weekend Academies have traveled to schools around the globe, including in Panama City, Puerto Rico, Austin, and Minneapolis. We offer programs in business, coding, politics and pre-med.
More recently, since the pandemic, Academies @Home has brought high-quality online enrichment courses to all students who are interested in pre-professional development. The virtual nature of Academies @Home has allowed many more students (especially international students) to participate in our programs who otherwise would not be able to do so due to the costs and logistics associated with traveling to Harvard's campus for traditional in-person academies.
Our branding leans heavily into our association with Harvard University in order to provide our business, our instructors, and our curriculum with prestige and credibility.

The Academies @Home is a sub-brand of The Academies by HSA. The specialized logo can be found in the Team Drive. The Academies @Home uses the same colors and photography as the main brand.
The Academies share the general shield as a mark. The shield should primarily appear on the Academies red; however it may also be used on a black background. The icons displayed in the mark represent the variety of topics taught at the Academies.
On dark backgrounds, when needed, the crest may stay colored and the text alone may be changed to white.
The red should be used in almost all instances. Gradients (moving from Academies red to a slightly brighter, lighter shade of red) are sometimes used in promotional materials to create a more visual depth. Simple shapes (like rectangular text boxes or triangular cut-outs) and line accents are often used in promotional materials.
Future PT Light should be used for headings. Depending on readability, the regular version may be used instead. Adobe Garamond Regular should be used for body text.
Photo style
Academies photos should depict real students in workshops or hands-on activities. Students must look engaged and happy; the Harvard campus itself should play a large role in the images as students are attracted mainly by the Harvard experience. As for editing, photos should be bright with depth of field.
Photos may be supplemented with pictures of the Academies, Tutoring, or HSA team members. Other depictions of student life are also welcome when paired with references to Harvard and not to the academy itself.
